David Trope is a Garden Guru.
David developed his love for landscaping in his early twenties when he spent six years farming in Mpumalanga. David is a partner in three other businesses, Peach Mobile, Plum Solutions and Yello Telecom.
He retired from the corporate world in July of 2010 and decided to live his dream and founded The Garden Guru.

Payn Nyati is a Garden Guru.
He started as a gardener for David four years ago and is now a master gardener and manages the landscaping and maintenance teams.

Esti Medalie is a Garden Guru.
Esti Medalie did a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Mathematics through UNISA and then decided to follow her passion for plants, the outdoors and design and completed the City and Guilds Qualification for Garden Design through the Lifestyle College of Garden Design. Esti has extensive experience as a Landscape Architect and Project Manageress.

Sam Michel is a Marketing Guru. Sam is an attorney at law, is an ex Senior Partner at BBDO, ex Marketing Director at Edgars, ex Head of Marketing at MTN and is currently a Partner at OpenCo, Fine Health Care and Sweet Spot. Garden Guru utilises Sam as a strategic marketing resource.
